A Time for Mercy
Let’s take time to practice mercy. Just like building physical strength, the more we work out, the stronger we become. From September 14, 2025 (The Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross) to October 5, 2025 (The Memorial of St. Faustina Kowalska), Bishop Bruce invites all of us to participate in MERCY21.
For 21 days, we will do our REPs of Mercy:
· Reflect on Mercy.
·
· Exercise Mercy.
·
· Pray for Mercy.
·
Think of it like spiritual training. The more we repeat these daily exercises, the more mercy becomes second nature—shaping our thoughts, our choices, and our relationships. Repetition builds spiritual stamina. Practice leads to progress.
By signing up, you’ll receive a daily message right in your inbox to guide your practice. Day after day, over the next three weeks, we’ll do our REPs together—personally and as a diocesan family—remembering always that God has first shown us mercy, so we might show mercy to others.
“Be merciful as your Father is merciful.” (Luke 6:36)
