St. Timothy's and St. Rita Churches

This past Saturday, we had our third annual Family Fun Nite.  It was a really great time!  Many members of our parish family attended.  The kids had a lot of fun with the bouncy house and the games.  The food was - to say the least - absolutely terrific!

Many thanks to all who attended.  This is exactly what Jesus wants for us - to be together as one - one with Him and one with each other.  Church is first and foremost a place of worship, and it's also a place where we can gather together as brothers and sisters in the Lord and enjoy each other's company.  If you missed it this year, please plan to attend next year.  It's usually held on the Saturday after Labor Day.

Many thanks to the many volunteers who worked so hard to put it all together:  Lou Ann Adams, Eileen Confreda, Bob and Lucia Cornwell, Maricar Cruz, Ashley Cruz, Aaron (Josh) Cruz, Chris Kelley, Michael Kelley, Norm and Jan Levasseur, Sal Raspallo, Cliff and Donna Schultz,  Mark and Joan Smith, and Sr. Alice.  A very special thanks to Polly Venditti for coordinating the entire event.

Also, a sincere thanks to the local businesses who donated food and gift cards:  Confreda Farms, Dave’s Marketplace (for hamburgers and use of their grill), Stop & Shop, Shaw’s Market, Sam’s Club, Anthony DeAngelis (Lay’s Chip) and Classic Deli.  They have been very generous to the parish over the years.  Let's show our appreciation to them by continuing to shop at their stores.

The next social event will be our Harvest Festival.  Please mark your calendars for Friday, October 16 at 6pm.  More details will follow very soon.  It should be a lot of fun!
